I loved Miro’s poem and it’s sentiment. How often do we pursue others who would not pursue us? Do we slip away when others don’t pursue us? Maybe we don’t mean to, but it happens.
The Pursuer
There is one person who will pursue you to the end, however. God, in all his forms: Father, Son, Holy Spirit. He will pursue when we ignore, when we actively run, when we slide down the slippery path of apathy. Thank you God for pursuing me. Help me to pursue you with equal passion. Love, Angie

Thank God indeed. He never leaves us out of the loop. 🙂

No He never does, even though we certainly don’t deserve it!

Well, now I’m reassessing my actions. I just unfollowed someone whose blog had turned consistently judgmental and snarky of others. I decided I didn’t want to receive a frequent diet of “other-people-are-such-idiots.” As you said, Praise the Lord who sticks with us even when our ugliness shows.”

That’s one reason I wrote this Barb. I don’t think we have to follow people no matter what, but due consideration certainly. It’s so hard not to want to cut people off when they have issues, but who knows that you won’t be the one to bring a ray of sunshine to a darkened soul? Much to ponder:)
